Welcome to our newest training team: 20.12 TACTICAL! Tom Ramirez and Anders Gilstad, NRA Instructors will be offering Tactical Shotgun, Introduction to Tactical Carbine and Advanced Concealed Carry. Tom and Anders will be teaching in the Bemidji, Fargo and Grand Forks. We are excited to offer these new classes to round out our educational opportunities.

The New Shooter Permit class is designed for the beginner level shooter or first time pistol owner. The six hour course will cover all the legal and moral issues for acquiring your permit to carry, as well as the fundamental knowledge and skills for using your handgun safely and comfortably. Included in the class will be approximately one hour of range time where the student will benefit from one-to-one live fire training with the instructor.

Our February 13th Women's Only Permit to Carry class was a great success. We had 25 women from all walks of life attend the training and the feedback was great.
We are now expanding our Women's only class to include the Fargo and Grand Forks area. We will have a great day of training, have a great section on carrying concealed for women and review a great selection of handguns for women's carry.

We are now offering the necessary training in order to apply for the Florida Permit to Carry. For a small additional fee ($50.00), our Minnesota Permit to Carry, Utah Permit to Carry, North Dakota Class I or NRA Pistol Students will receive the necessary paperwork and services in order to apply the seven year Florida Permit to Carry.

Lisa Murphy & Denny Bure, Minnesota/NRA/Utah Certified Instructors will be offering the Minnesota and/or Florida, Utah Permit to Carry training monthly at the Forest Lake Sportsman's Club. The Utah Permit to Carry is a non-resident permit that North Dakota and Minnesota residents can obtain which will give them legal carry in over 28 states (including Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota).

Lisa Murphy and Denny Bure, Certified NRA Instructors will be teaching the NRA Pistol/First Steps at the Owatonna Cabela's starting January 2009.
This course is for anyone who wants to understand the safety rules and basic function of handguns. Today, handguns are enjoying increased popularity due to the vast majority of states allowing law-abiding competent adults to carry them for personal protection. So as handgun become more present and their use increases, so goes the need for basic training.
This course also provides the handgun novice with the necessary safety, operational and practical handgun training needed to continue on to a permit to carry class or to just enjoy target shooting.
