Minnesota Permit to Carry: $145.00 - This course includes your day of training, student material, book on Legalities of Permit to Carry in Minnesota, Resource Disc and target. Does not include application fee to local Sheriff or range fees ($18.00 to Inrange).
Utah or Florida Permit to Carry for returning students: $70.00 - offered to returning students who have already taken the Minnesota Permit to Carry offered by Rusty (please bring certificate). Includes training material, book on the Legalities of the Permit to Carry in Minnesota, fingerprinting, passport style photo and copy of Driver's License. Does not include the $65.00 fee to the State of Utah or $117.00 fee to State of Florida.
Minnesota/Utah Combination or Minnesota/Florida Combination: $195.00 - complete both training qualifications on the same day. Save time and money on this combination.
NRA Basic Pistol: $125.00 - Includes training material, book on Basic Pistol Training, and targets.
What happens on the day of class?
I will call the night before to firm up plans for the day.
What to bring: Bring the handgun you are going to carry (no single action cowboy style gun - we also rent handguns for $10.00 if you do not have a handgun to use), fifty rounds of factory ammo (you can purchase the ammo at Cabela's or at the range), driver's license and your fee for the class by cash or check. Leave your handgun secured in your car until we go to the range.
We will meet on the second floor of Rogers Cabela's in the classroom between 9:00 am and 9:30 am to register for class.
Class starts at 10:00 am.
We will take a one hour lunch break (Cabela's has a great cafeteria)
At about 4:30 pm, we go to the range at InRange in Monticello. We should wrap it up no later than 6:00 pm.

If you do not have access to a handgun for the Minnesota qualifying, we will make available at no cost, the use of a .22 semi-automatic, .38 revolver or a .9mm semi-automatic. Just bring the required amount of ammunition. Other types of handguns are available for rent at Bill's Gun Shop.

NRA Pistol Training - This course is for anyone who wants to understand the safety rules and basic function of handguns. Today, handguns are enjoying increased popularity due to the vast majority of states allowing law-abiding competent adults to carry them for personal protection. So as handgun become more present and their use increases, so goes the need for basic training.
This course provides the handgun novice with the necessary safety, operational and practical handgun training needed to continue on to a permit to carry class or to just enjoy target shooting.
When finished, you will have learned:

You will have fired 100 rounds from a revolver and 100 rounds from a semiautomatic.
